Your WOD tracking solution
What’s in in the journal
The TYW Journal is divided in 9 sections with side tabs for easy access.
This is divided in Benchmark, Girls and Hero WODs.
Here you have your Fight Gone Bad, Helen, Murph, etc… where you can keep your score, times and notes, so next time you do these you have a point of reference and see how you can improve.
Personal Records (PR)
It has never been easier to keep track of all your records. PRs are divided in lifts (deadlifts, the different squats, cleans, etc), bodyweights (muscle ups, push ups, box jumps, T2B, etc), and conditioning (running, rowing, double unders, etc).
This is the section that you will most likely use every day. Here you track the WOD with the date, time of day of WOD, strength/skill, the WOD, and any notes that you may have. There is room to track 112 WODs in this journal.
Basic Strength Standards
If you're anything like me you still might be confused on what weight you should do in the different lifts. This section can provide a rough guide as to a starting point for various lifts depending on your level of experience. However, this section is only a reference tool and everyone should listen to their body when lifting.
Weightlifting Percentages Chart
No more math. Use this chart which has the max weight you can do (goes from 50 to 400), and then select the percentage you need to do, which goes from 50% to 95%, all in one nice chart ready for you to select your weight.

The big elephant in the room…
"So… why would I use this journal if there's an app for that?"
I get it. There are a hundred apps that do this already. But seriously, do you do CrossFit with your phone in your hand?? Sweat dripping and chalk smearing all over your phone (gross). And then what do you do when you put your phone down and a weight drops on it? Nothing is as handy as pen and paper that you can throw around anywhere. And the side tabs create easy access to any section.

Is this journal for me?
It is for every CrossFit athlete. Literally. I know that you can't be everything for everyone, but from un-trained to elite, every athlete should keep track of their score, times and weights. And this journal helps you with that.
How can I give a journal to all the athletes in my box?
E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can get in contact to quote you personalized journals.
Think about it: if an athlete pays over $1,000 a year to work out at your box, isn't this a cool gift for them, starting or seasoned athlete?
I like it…but I already spend a lot at my gym. Can I print it myself?
In return, I'll send you a PDF for free with valuable and useful sections of the journal that you'll be able to print off at home and take with you to CrossFit.
